There are many ways you can get involved in helping to protect our neighborhood families, homes, business and wildlife from flood endangerment. Attend an STA meeting or try one of the activites below:

Share ideas and discuss concerns and solutions by using our (
automatic e-mail list server.) Joining is as easy as sending an email message to request a subscription. Once you subscribe, messages are delivered directly to the "Inbox" of your email
program. Any message sent to the listserv email address is delivered to everyone to the list. You can
"unsubscribe" at any time (see below.)
Only subscribers are able to send to the list, so spamming (unsolicited email) is not a problem. The listserv is to be used only for furthering the work of the Sycamore Triangle Association and for community building activities.
Personal conversations and commercial solicitations are not allowed. Violators will have their subscription revoked.NOTE: Clicking the links below will open your email program.
- To Subscribe to the Listserv
- All that is
required of you is to hit the "Send" button. No text is needed in the
"Subject" field or the body of the email.
- You will receive a return email with instructions on how to activate your. We recommend you choose the second activation choice, "REPLY to this email by clicking "Reply" and then "Send" in your email program. The listserv will then reply back to you with a confirmation of your subscription and instructions similar to those below on how to use the listserv.
- Yahoogroups encourages you to visit their web site and to create a Yahoo ID, but this is not necessary to receive the email messages.
- To Post a Message to the Listserv
You may want to add sycamoretriangle@yahoogroups.org to your address book so you can send posts to the listserv without having to visit the link above. It is polite to include a subject line in your email. Note: If you have multiple email accounts, you must send messages to the list from the email account you used to subscribe. Having Difficulty With Listserv Messages?

- The "From" address you use to send messages to the list server must be a valid email address.
- Not getting messages back from the listserv? Check your JUNK or SPAM mailbox. You must add sycamoretriangle@yahoogroups.com to your approved list of email addresses. If you don't know how to do this, check the help menu in your email program or contact the help desk of your email service provider.
- After successful subscription, messages sent to the listserv must come from the same address you used to subscribe. E.g. to post a message, unsubscribe or give another command to the list server, the message must come from the same email address as the one that you used to subscribe.
