Sept 1, 2006 Creek Walk- Mill Valley Herald Sept 5-11, 2006: Walking the creek for answers
Marin County Flood and Water conservation District engineering technician Bene Da Silva (in photo not shown here) talks to members of the Sycamore Triangle Association during the Arroyo Corte Madera del Presidio Creek Walk held last Friday, while Marin County civil engineer Timotheus Hampton looks on. The event was a working session to identify debris that can be removed prior to the upcoming rainy season to prevent future flooding.

There were no surprises found along the banks of the Arroyo Corte Madera del Presition Creek during the recent walk-through. Members of the county, the city of Mill Valley and the Sycamore Triangle Association strolled down the creek on Sept. 1 to see what could be done t prevent future flooding.
